6 (1) In the accounts between the several provinces and Canada, the amounts by which the yearly subsidy to each province was increased by An Act to re-adjust the amounts payable to and chargeable against the several Provinces of Canada by the Dominion Government, so far as they depend on the debt with which they respectively entered the Union, chapter 30 of the Statutes of Canada, 1873, as explained with respect to the Province of Nova Scotia by An Act to declare the intention of the Act thirty-sixth Victoria, chapter thirty, as regards the subsidy to be allowed to Nova Scotia, chapter 3 of the Statutes of Canada, 1874, shall be calculated and allowed to the Provinces of Ontario and Quebec jointly, as having formed the former Province of Canada, and to the Provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, as if those Acts had directed that such increase be allowed from the day of the coming into force of the Constitution Act, 1867.

AND WHEREAS the said Commission was incorporated by an Act of the General Assembly of Nova Scotia entitled An Act to Incorporate the Halifax Relief Commission, which was confirmed by an Act of the Parliament of Canada entitled An Act respecting the Halifax Relief Commission;

120. All Payments to be made under this Act, or in discharge of Liabilities created under any Act of the Provinces of Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick respectively, and assumed by Canada, shall, until the Parliament of Canada otherwise directs, be made in such Form and Manner as may from Time to Time be ordered by the Governor General in Council.
120. Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Energy, Mines and Resources and having been satisfied that the Minister of Energy, Mines and Resources has consulted with the Minister of Mines and Energy for the Province of Nova Scotia as required pursuant to subsection 6(2) of An Act respecting the Canada-Nova Scotia Agreement on Offshore Oil and Gas Resource Management and Revenue Sharing and to make related and consequential amendments, being chapter 29 of the Statutes of Canada 1984, and that the Minister of Mines and Energy for the Province of Nova Scotia has given his approval in accordance with that subsection, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order declaring that Part I of the Canada-Nova Scotia Oil and Gas Agreement Act does not apply in respect of certain parts of the offshore area.
Sur avis conforme du ministre de l’Énergie, des Mines et des Ressources et ayant été assurée que le ministre de l’Énergie, des Mines et des Ressouces a consulté le ministre des Mines et de l’Énergie de la Nouvelle-Écosse, comme l’exige le paragraphe 6(2) de la Loi concernant l’Accord entre le Canada et la Nouvelle-Écosse sur la gestion des ressources pétrolières et gazières situées au large des côtes et sur le partage des recettes et apportant des modifications corrélatives ou connexes, chapitre 29 des Statuts du Canada 1984, et que le ministre des Mines et de l’Énergie de la Nouvelle-Écosse a donné son accord conformément à ce paragraphe, il plaît à Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil de prendre le Décret visant à déclarer que certaines parties de la région extracôtière sont soustraites à l’application de la Partie I de la Loi sur l’Accord entre le Canada et la Nouvelle-Écosse sur la gestion des ressources pétrolières et gazières, ci-après.

23. Calls on the Serbian authorities to implement concrete measures to improve the situation of the Roma, particularly concerning the provision of personal documents, education, housing, health care and employment; calls further on the Serbian authorities to secure equal representation of Roma in public institutions and public life, including by devoting special attention to the inclusion of Roma women; stresses that the Roma integration policy needs to be further strengthened and, taking into account the violence suffered by minority NGO representatives, that discrimination must be tackled effectively; looks forward therefore to seeing the measures of the upcoming Strategy and Action Plan on Roma inclusion; welcomes in this context the ‘Pristina Declaration’, which calls on governments and international, intergovernmental and civil society organisations to thoroughly apply principles of non-discrimination and equality when working and acting on the promotion and respect for Roma rights;
23. invite les autorités serbes à prendre des mesures concrètes pour améliorer la situation des Roms, notamment en ce qui concerne la délivrance de documents personnels, l'enseignement, le logement, la santé et l'emploi; appelle en outre les autorités serbes à garantir une représentation égalitaire des Roms dans les institutions publiques et dans la vie publique, notamment en prêtant une attention particulière à l'intégration des femmes roms; souligne que la politique d'intégration des Roms doit être renforcée, en tenant compte des violences subies par les ONG qui représentent cette minorité, et que la discrimination doit être efficacement combattue; demande dès lors à voir les mesures prévues par la stratégie et le plan d'action à venir sur l'intégration des Roms; salue, dans ce contexte, la "déclaration de Pristina" qui invite les gouvernements et les organisations internationales, intergouvernementales et de la société civile à appliquer pleinement les principes de non-discrimination et d'égalité dans leurs efforts en faveur de la promotion et du respect des droits des Roms;

4. Recalls that Bulgaria is the only accession country that is lacking implementation mechanisms in the field of gender equality and that these institutional mechanisms remain a sine qua non for the transposition of the EU acquis; in this respect, welcomes the establishment of a Consultative Commission on Equal Opportunities of women and men and a Commission on Prevention of Discrimination under the new Anti-Discrimination Act; expects these Commissions to take greater account of the specific situation of Roma women, who are subject to twofold discrimination: on the basis of gender and on the basis of belonging to a minority; calls on the Commission to incorporate these facts into its analysis of political criteria;
4. rappelle que la Bulgarie est le seul pays en voie d'adhésion à ne pas avoir établi de mécanismes de mise en oeuvre en matière d'égalité des sexes et que l'existences de ces mécanismes institutionnels restent une condition sine qua non pour la transposition de l'acquis de l'UE; se félicite à cet égard de l'établissement, dans le cadre de la nouvelle loi contre la discrimination, d'une commission consultative sur l'égalité des chances entre les femmes et les hommes et d'une commission pour la prévention de la discrimination; attend de ces commissions une meilleure prise en compte de la situation spécifique des femmes roms, qui subissent une double discrimination: celle du sexe et celle de l'appartenance à une minorité; invite la Commission à intégrer ces données dans son analyse des critères politiques;
