TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Without prejudice to Regulation (EC) No 1224/2009 and Council Regulation (EC) No 1005/2008 (*), the provisions set out in this Chapter shall apply to the use of ports of Member States by fishing vessels carrying on board fishery resources, caught in the Convention Area by fishing vessels flying the flag of another Contracting Party, that have not been previously landed or transhipped at a port.

11. Upon application therefor to the Board by a manufacturer who establishes that the work force at his plant is or is likely to be significantly reduced through lay-offs during a specified period by reason of the application of measures taken by other countries in respect of imports therein from Canada, the Board may, subject to this Act and the regulations, authorize the payment to the manufacturer of an employment support grant pursuant to this Act in respect of any prescribed assistance period determined by the Board in respect of that manufacturer.
11. Sur demande présentée à la Commission par un fabricant qui établit que les effectifs de la main-d’oeuvre de son usine devront certainement ou probablement être réduits par des mises à pied pendant une période spécifiée à cause de l’application de mesures prises par d’autres pays relativement aux importations en provenance du Canada, la Commission peut, sous réserve des autres dispositions de la présente loi ainsi que des règlements, autoriser le versement au fabricant, en application de la présente loi, d’une subvention de soutien de l’emploi relative à toute période prescrite d’assistance déterminée par la Commission pour ce fabricant.

12. The amount of any grant that may be authorized by the Board to a manufacturer shall neither exceed such amount as may be prescribed nor be greater than any lesser amount that, in the opinion of the Board, would be adequate to maintain employment by the manufacturer throughout the prescribed assistance period at such levels as those prescribed or specified by the Board, as the case may be.
12. Le montant de la subvention dont la Commission peut autoriser le versement à un fabricant ne doit en aucun cas ni dépasser le montant qui peut être prescrit ni dépasser tout montant inférieur à ce dernier qui suffirait, de l’avis de la Commission, pour maintenir l’emploi, pour ce fabricant, pendant toute la période prescrite d’assistance, aux niveaux qui sont prescrits ou spécifiés par la Commission, selon le cas.

16 (1) Subject to subsection (2), payment of a grant authorized by the Board to a manufacturer in respect of a plant of the manufacturer or otherwise for an assistance period shall not be made until the termination of such assistance period.
