Amino acids, their salts and analogues, and urea and its derivatives, which are currently covered by Council Directive 82/471/EEC of 30 June 1982 concerning certain products used in animal nutrition , should be included as a category of feed additives and therefore transferred from the scope of that Directive to this Regulation.

The Republic of Zimbabwe is hereby included in Article 3 (1) of the said Protocol with an agreed quantity of 25000tonnes with effect from 1 July 1982, and in respect of the period up to 30 June 1982 with an agreed quantity of 6000 tonnes.
