Welcomes the fact that the agenda for the 22nd regular session includes panel discussions on human rights mainstreaming, the negative impact of the financial and economic crisis and of corruption on the enjoyment of human rights, and the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action, interactive debates, inter alia on the rights of persons with disabilities, and extensive meetings on various issues, such as children’s right to enjoy the highest attainable standards of health; calls on the European External Action Service (EEAS) and the Member States actively to contribute to these debates and clearly to state that human rights are universal, indivisible and interdependent;
