Where the elements of design of the parent engine system correspond to those of the new engine system in accordance with point 6.2 or, in the case of a dual-fuel engine, in accordance with paragraph 3.1.2 of Annex 15 to UNECE Regulation No 49, the parent engine system shall remain unchanged and the manufacturer shall modify the information document specified in Annex I.

the Member State which becomes responsible in accordance with Article 17(1) of Regulation (EU) No 604/2013 shall update its data set recorded in conformity with Article 11 of this Regulation relating to the applicant for international protection by adding the date when the decision to examine the application was taken.

(2) Notwithstanding anything in this Part, when a contributor to whom subsection (1) applies has been medically examined, as prescribed in the regulations, and has failed to pass the examination, neither the contributor nor the contributor’s survivor or children shall, in respect of any service of the contributor to which the election referred to in subsection (1) relates, become entitled to any benefit under this Part other than a return of contributions unless the contributor continues to be employed in the public service for a further period of not less than five years from the time of the examination or is again medically examined, as prescribed in the regulations, and passes the examination.

Member States may make an exception where disclosure of information or sources would jeopardise national security, the security of the organisations or person(s) providing the information or the security of the person(s) to whom the information relates or where the investigative interests relating to the examination of applications for international protection by the competent authorities of the Member States or the international relations of the Member States would be compromised.

The Council: took note of progress regarding the two proposals for Regulations relating to the new agrimonetary arrangements further to the introduction of the euro ( ); held a discussion on the two Commission proposals, at the end of which it noted that most delegations wanted simultaneous adoption of them and that a large majority of delegations were in favour of the draft basic Regulation as amended by the Commission, without prejudging the final outcome regarding the transitional Regulation; instructed the Special Committee on Agriculture to continue, taking into account the views and positions that emerged during the discussion, examining the major points outstanding in the draft transitional Regulation, relating on the one hand to the triggering threshold of 0,5% (which could become optional for Member States), the 2,6% neutral margin and the 24-month confirmation deadline and on the other to the co-funding arrangements; agreed to return to this point at a later date in order to re-examine the dossier as a whole, taking into account the urgent need for adoption imposed by the introduction of the euro on 1 January 1999.
