15. Privileges and immunities have been granted to officials in the interest of the International Labour Office and not for the personal benefit of the individuals themselves; and the Director General of the International Labour Office shall have the right to waive the immunity of any official in any case where, in his opinion, the immunity would impede the course of justice and can be waived without prejudice to the interests of the International Labour Office.

14. The provisions of paragraphs 11(d) to (h) inclusive and of paragraph 13(c) shall not apply to any Canadian citizen residing or ordinarily resident in Canada, and an official of the International Labour Office, who is or becomes a resident of Canada upon retirement, will not enjoy by virtue of this Order exemption from taxation on the pension that may be paid to him by the International Labour Office.

Calls on the Commission as the representative of the Union and the Member States to impress upon the WTO and its members the need to take account of human rights and social, health and environmental standards in the context of trade negotiations, and in particular the negotiation of the Doha agreement, and to see to it in practice that they are applied and promoted in the context of the implementation of trade agreements; calls on the Commission to urge the WTO and its members to admit, as a first step, the delegations of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the secretariat of the International Labour Office and the secretariats of multilateral and international environmental agreements as observers;
5. demande à la Commission, en tant que représentante de l'Union et des États membres, de faire valoir auprès de l'OMC et de ses membres la nécessité de prendre en compte les droits de l'homme, les normes sociales et sanitaires et environnementales dans le cadre des négociations commerciales, et notamment celle de l'accord de Doha, et de veiller concrètement à leur application et à leur promotion dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre des accords commerciaux; demande à la Commission d'engager l'OMC et ses membres à admettre, dans un premier temps, en tant qu'observateurs, les délégations de l'OIT et le secrétariat du BIT ainsi que les secrétariats des accords environnementaux multilatéraux et internationaux;
