His Excellency the Governor General in Council, considering that it is in the public interest to do so, is pleased hereby, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue and the Treasury Board, pursuant to section 23 of the Financial Administration Act, to make the annexed Order respecting the remission of a portion of the customs duties paid on a continuous casting system imported into Canada by Stelco Steel.
Sur recommandation du ministre du Revenu national et du Conseil du Trésor et en vertu de l’article 23 de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, il plaît à Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil, le jugeant d’intérêt public, de prendre le Décret concernant la remise d’une partie des droits de douane payés sur le système de coulée continue importé au Canada par Stelco Steel, ci-après.

2. Subject to section 3, remission is hereby granted to Stelco Steel of the amount set out in column III of an item of the schedule, which amount represents a portion of the customs duties paid under the Customs Tariff on a continuous casting system imported into Canada and accounted for under the customs accounting document set out in column I of that item, on the day set out in column II of that item.
2. Sous réserve de l’article 3, remise est accordée à Stelco Steel des montants prévus à la colonne III de l’annexe, lesquels représentent une partie des droits de douane payés en vertu du Tarif des douanes à l’égard d’un système de coulée continue importé au Canada et déclaré en détail aux dates indiquées à la colonne II et visé par les déclarations en détail douanières énumérées à la colonne I.
