Detailed rules for the implementation of those provisions should therefore be adopted and the existing legislation on the subject repealed, namely Commission Regulations (EEC) No 3201/90 of 16 October 1990 laying down detailed rules for the description and presentation of wines and grape musts(3), as last amended by Regulation (EC) No 885/2001(4), (EEC) No 3901/91 of 18 December 1991 laying down certain detailed rules on the description and presentation of special wines(5), (EC) No 554/95 of 13 March 1995 laying down detailed rules for the description and presentation of sparkling and aerated sparkling wines(6), as amended by Regulation (EC) No 1915/96(7), and (EC) No 881/98 of 24 April 1998 laying down detailed rules for the protection of the additional traditional terms used to designate certain types of quality wine produced in specified regions (quality wine psr)(8), as last amended by Regulation (EC) No 1608/2000(9).
Il convient d'arrêter les modalités d'application de ces règles et d'abroger la législation en vigueur en la matière, à savoir le règlement (CEE) n° 3201/90 de la Commission du 16 octobre 1990 portant modalités d'application pour la désignation et la présentation des vins et des moûts de raisins(3), modifié en dernier lieu par le règlement (CE) n° 885/2001(4), le règlement (CEE) n° 3901/91 de la Commission du 18 décembre 1991 portant certaines modalités d'application pour la désignation et la présentation des vins spéciaux(5), le règlement (CE) n° 554/95 de la Commission du 13 mars 1995 portant modalités d'application pour la désignation et la présentation des vins mousseux et des vins mousseux gazéifiés(6), modifié par le règlement (CE) n° 1915/96(7), et le règlement (CE) n° 881/98 de la Commission du 24 avril 1998 portant modalités d'application relatives à la protection des mentions traditionnelles complémentaires utilisées pour certains types de v.q.p.r.d (8), modifié en dernier lieu par le règlement (CE) n° 1608/2000(9).

In amendment, the Honourable Senator Lynch-Staunton moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Milne, that subsection (3) of the Committee's recommendation to amend Rule 131 of the Rules of the Senate be amended by replacing the words " communicate the request to the Government Leader who'' with the following:
