According to an AFP report, which also appeared in the Turkish daily newspaper 'Hürriyet', there has been an increase in cases of fraud involving vending machines selling cigarettes and confectionery in Germany since the new Turkish lira was introduced on 1 January 2005.
Selon un communiqué de l’agence AFP et le quotidien turc «Hürriyet», les cas de fraude se sont multipliés aux distributeurs automatiques de cigarettes et de confiseries en Allemagne depuis l’introduction de la nouvelle livre turque.
