According to the Government, it is consulting more than 70 organisations in this sector. However, none of the five national federations (some of which with large membership) are among them: The Bulgarian Farmers' Association, the Union of Agricultural Co-operatives, the Bulgarian Chamber of Agriculture, the Central Co-operative Union, and the Young Farmers' Association (which is a section of the Bulgarian Farmers' Association).
