Pourtant, le porte-parole de la société d'État reconnaît que leur code de conduite interdit à ces administrateurs ce genre d'activités partisanes.

Their achievements are extraordinary. In the space of a decade, we have seen the holding of dozens of transparent, democratic national, regional and local elections, the adoption of thousands of laws and regulations giving shape to the new democracies and incorporating the Community acquis into national law, the training of tens of thousands of civil servants and magistrates to interpret and apply the new legislation and the participation of hundreds of thousands of elected officials, specialists and members of professional organisations in EU-financed training and cooperation projects in order to learn about our policies. All 12 countries satisfy the political criteria laid down at Copenhagen and democratic institutions are stronger everywhere. Lastly, the overall performance of the economies of the ten first-wave countries is gradually improving: their growth rates are higher than ours, their inflation rates and deficits are being managed and kept under control and direct foreign investment is flooding in.
Ce bilan est extraordinaire : en l'espace d'une décennie, des dizaines d'élections nationales, régionales et locales ont eu lieu de manière transparente et démocratique ; des milliers de lois et de règlements ont été approuvés pour donner vie aux nouvelles démocraties et pour transposer l'acquis communautaire dans les législations nationales ; des dizaines de milliers de fonctionnaires et de juges sont formés pour leur permettre d'appliquer la nouvelle législation ; des centaines de milliers d'élus, d'experts et de responsables des associations professionnelles se sont familiarisés avec nos politiques grâce aux projets de formation et de coopération que nous avons financés ; les douze pays satisfont aux critères politiques établis à Copenhague et les institutions démocratiques se sont renforcées partout ; enfin, dans l'ensemble, les économies des dix pays améliorent progressivement leurs performances : les taux de croissance sont supérieurs aux nôtres ; l'inflation et le déficit sont gérés et contrôlés ; les investissements directs en provenance de l'étranger sont importants, ce qui démontre que les marchés ont confiance.

I am referring to some amendments which we have presented, both on behalf of the Liberal Group as well as the group of MEPs headed by Mrs Ferrer, in order to incorporate in a clear and specific way the official languages which are recognised in the Member States so that they may participate directly and in an institutional sense in the development of the European Year of Languages.
Il s'agit d'amendements que nous avons présentés, tant au nom du groupe libéral que d'un groupe de députés menés par Mme Ferrer dans le but d'inclure de manière claire et précise les langues officielles qui sont reconnues dans les États membres afin qu'elles participent directement et de manière institutionnelle au déroulement de l'Année européenne des langues.

Article 3(2), and Article 4 shall apply neither to projects within the Province of Kosovo nor to acquisitions of any new, or extension of any existing, participation in, ownership of or control over real estate, a company, undertaking, institution or entity located, registered or incorporated in that province, if such projects, acquisitions or extensions of such participation serve the reconstruction of Kosovo, the return of refugees, or economic and regional cooperation, and are officially approved or recognised as such by UNMIK, and/or the Community or its Member States".
