One of your senators, Senator Marie Charette-Poulin, used to work at CBC and when she was at CBC, she came to me once and said that we had to have audience numbers for our services across the country, but it turned out that no matter how we cut it — and I'm pretty smart at trying to find efficient ways to do research — it was in the millions of dollars we would have to spend to try to develop more reliable audiences for French services in mainly English environments.
