The President of the seamen's association 'Stevenson' which is affiliated to the union of junior ships' engineers, Yiannis Manousoyiannis, is being prosecuted by the Greek courts as a common criminal for taking part in and leading demonstrations held by sailors demanding the right to work and more humane working conditions.
