Where a common charging zone with a single unit rate has been established for a functional airspace block, the Member States concerned shall ensure conversion of national costs into euro or the national currency of one of the Member States concerned so as to ensure a transparent calculation of the single unit rate in application of the third subparagraph of Article 17(1) of this Regulation.
Wanneer voor een functioneel luchtruimblok een gemeenschappelijke heffingszone met één eenheidstarief is ingesteld, dragen de betrokken lidstaten zorg voor de omzetting van de nationale kosten in euro of in de nationale munteenheid van een van de betrokken lidstaten, om aldus een transparante berekening van het eenheidstarief te waarborgen overeenkomstig artikel 17, lid 1, derde alinea, van deze verordening.
