TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

The Council decided not to oppose the adoption of a Commission regulation amending regulation 2223/96 on the European system of national and regional accounts, following the revision of the statistical classification of economic activities and the statistical classification of products by activity in national accounts.
De Raad heeft besloten geen bezwaar te maken tegen de vaststelling van een verordening van de Commissie tot wijziging van Verordening (EG) nr. 2223/96 inzake het Europees systeem van nationale en regionale rekeningen naar aanleiding van de herziening van de statistische classificatie van economische activiteiten en de statistische classificatie van producten per activiteit in de nationale rekeningen.

The establishment of a revised statistical classification of economic activities and a revised statistical classification of products by activity require adaptation of Regulation (EC) No 2223/96.
Wegens de vaststelling van een herziene statistische classificatie van economische activiteiten en een herziene statistische classificatie van producten gekoppeld aan activiteiten is een aanpassing van Verordening (EG) nr. 2223/96 nodig.

In particular, the Commission should be empowered to: update the list of characteristics in the Annexes; establish the frequency of the compilation of the statistics, the rules for flagging data as contributions to European totals only (CETO), the first reference year for the compilation of the results, and the breakdown of results, in particular the classifications to be used and the combination of the size classes; update the periods of time for the transmission of data; adapt the breakdown of activities and products to amendments or revisions of the statistical classification of economic activities in the European Community (NACE) and classification of products by activity (CPA); adopt measures on the basis of the evaluation of pilot studies; change the lower limit for the reference population in Annex VIII; and establish criteria for the evaluation of quality.

The Council adopted a regulation establishing a new statistical classification of products by activity (CPA) in order to ensure relevance with respect to the economic reality and comparability between national, Community and international classifications and hence national, Community and international statistics (3639/07).

It incorporates principally the General Industrial Classification of Economic Activities within the European Communities (NACE) as the principal codification tool and defines the income indicators for the agriculture sector.

As regards classifications, national classifications of economic activities and of products by activities appear to be in line with EU requirements. A new proposal for a "statistical region nomenclature" (NUTS - Nomenclature des unités territoriales statistiques) in Croatia needs to be submitted to the Commission in order to agree on a NUTS breakdown.
Wat de classificaties betreft, moet worden opgemerkt dat de nationale classificaties van economische activiteiten en producten overeen lijken te stemmen met de vereisten van de EU. Er moet een nieuw voorstel voor een "statistische regio-nomenclatuur" (NUTS - Nomenclature des unités territoriales statistiques) in Kroatië aan de Commissie worden voorgelegd om over een NUTS-indeling tot overeenstemming te komen.

The illustrative tables showing the correspondence between the CPV and the Statistical Classification of Products by Activity in the EEC (CPA), the Provisional Central Product Classification (CPC Prov.) of the United Nations, the General Industrial Classification of Economic Activities within the European Communities (NACE Rev. 1) and the Combined Nomenclature (CN) are set out in Annexes II, III, IV and V respectively.
3. De indicatieve concordantietabellen voor de CPV enerzijds en de "statistische classificatie van producten, gekoppeld aan de economische activiteiten" (CPA), de "centrale productenclassificatie" (CPC Prov.), de "statistische nomenclatuur van de economische activiteiten in de Europese Gemeenschap" (NACE Rev.1) en de "gecombineerde nomenclatuur" (GN) anderzijds, zijn opgenomen in respectievelijk de bijlagen II, III, IV en V.

The Council adopted a regulation establishing the statistical classification of economic activities NACE Rev. 2 and amending Council regulation 3037/90 and certain EC regulations on specific statistical domains (PE-CONS 3651/06).
