– gezien zijn eerdere resoluties over racisme, vreemdelingenhaat en antisemitisme van 27 oktober 1994 , 27 april 1995 , 26 oktober 1995 , 30 januari 1997 en 16 maart 2000 , het verslag van zijn Onderzoekscommissie racisme en vreemdelingenhaat uit 1990 en zijn schriftelijke verklaring van 7 juli 2000 over de herinnering aan de Holocaust ,

11. During the third year following the entry into force of the Regulation, the Commission will forward to the European Parliament, the Council, the Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions a progress report on the Centre's activities, together with proposals, if appropriate, to modify or extend its tasks, taking into account, in particular, the development of Community powers in the field of racism and xenophobia.
11. In de loop van het derde jaar na de inwerkingtreding van de verordening legt de Commissie aan het Europese Parlement, de Raad, het Economisch en Sociaal Comité en het Comité van de Regio's een evaluatierapport voor over de activiteiten van het waarnemingscentrum, eventueel vergezeld van voorstellen tot wijziging of uitbreiding van de taken van het centrum, met name in het licht van de ontwikkeling van de communautaire bevoegdheden op het gebied van racisme en vreemdelingenhaat.

The Regulation requires the Commission (Article 16) to forward to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions "a progress report on the Centre's activities, together with proposals, if appropriate, to modify or extend its tasks, taking into account, in particular, the development of Community powers in the field of racism and xenophobia".
De verordening (artikel 16) bepaalt dat de Commissie aan het Europees Parlement, de Raad, het Europees Economisch en Sociaal Comité en het Comité van de Regio's "een voortgangsverslag voorlegt over de werkzaamheden van het Waarnemingscentrum, eventueel vergezeld van voorstellen tot aanpassing of uitbreiding van zijn taken, met name in het licht van de ontwikkeling van de bevoegdheden van de Gemeenschap terzake van racisme en vreemdelingenhaat".

Article 16 provides that: "During the third year following the entry into force of this Regulation, the Commission shall forward to the European Parliament, the Council, the Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions a progress report on the Centre's activities, together with proposals, if appropriate, to modify or extend its tasks, taking into account, in particular, the development of Community powers in the field of racism and xenophobia".
