Calls for an effective partnership approach and lawful information exchange between law enforcement agencies, judicial authorities, the ICT industry, internet service providers (ISPs), internet host providers (IHPs), social media companies, the banking sector and NGOs, including youth and children’s organisations, with a view to ensuring that the rights and protection of children online are safeguarded and that any illicit content is promptly removed and reported to law enforcement authorities, which should regularly report on their investigations and prosecutions based on this relevant information, where appropriate; welcomes, in this connection, the CEO coalition for making the internet a better place for kids, as well as the work of the European Financial Coalition against Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children Online (EFC);
17. dringt aan op een effectieve, op partnerschap gebaseerde aanpak en wettige informatie-uitwisseling tussen wetshandhavingsinstanties, gerechtelijke autoriteiten, de ict-sector, aanbieders van internetdiensten en -hosting, socialemediabedrijven, de bankensector en ngo's, inclusief kinder- en jeugdorganisaties, om ervoor te zorgen dat kinderen en hun rechten op internet worden beschermd en dat alle illegale inhoud onmiddellijk wordt verwijderd en gemeld aan de rechtshandhavingsinstanties, die regelmatig verslag moeten uitbrengen over hun onderzoeken en vervolgingen op grond van deze relevante informatie, indien van toepassing; is in dit verband ingenomen met de CEO-coalitie, die het internet veiliger heeft gemaakt voor kinderen, alsook met het werk van de Europese financiële coalitie tegen commerciële seksuele uitbuiting van kinderen op internet (EFC);

MasterCard, Microsoft, PayPal, VISA Europe and the NGO Missing Children Europe are amongst the founding members of the new coalition and are joined by Allen and Overy and ICMEC - the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children as advisory members to the EFC.
