TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

The new programme includes a Culture sub-programme, supporting performing and visual arts, heritage and other areas, and a MEDIA sub-programme, which will provide funding for the cinema and audiovisual sector. A new cross-sectoral strand will support policy cooperation, transversal measures and the new financial guarantee facility, which will be operational from 2016.
Het nieuwe programma omvat een subprogramma Cultuur voor steun aan onder meer uitvoerende en visuele kunsten en cultureel erfgoed en een subprogramma Media voor steun aan de film en de audiovisuele sector. Via een nieuw sectoroverschrijdend programma-onderdeel zal steun worden verleend aan beleidssamenwerking, transversale maatregelen en de vanaf 2016 operationele nieuwe financiële garantiefaciliteit.

Last week, the European Commission put forward its budget proposal for 2014-2020, which envisages €900 million in support of the cinema and audiovisual sector as part of the Commission's new 'Creative Europe' programme (see IP/11/1399).
De Europese Commissie heeft vorige week haar begrotingsvoorstel voor 2014-2020 bekendgemaakt, dat 900 miljoen euro steun voorziet voor de cinematografische en audiovisuele sector als onderdeel van het nieuwe programma van de Commissie "Creatief Europa” (zie IP/11/1399).

GUARANTEE FUND FOR THE AUDIOVISUAL SECTOR The Council took note of statements by the German, United Kingdom and Netherlands delegations, which expressed reservations, particularly of a financial nature, on the Commission proposal to create a guarantee fund to promote the European cinema and television industry, currently being examined by the Council bodies (Audiovisual/Cultural Affairs).
GARANTIEFONDS VOOR DE AUDIO-VISUELE SECTOR De Raad heeft nota genomen van de opmerkingen van de Duitse, de Britse en de Nederlandse delegatie, die bedenkingen van vooral financiële aard hebben bij het Commissievoorstel tot oprichting van een Garantiefonds ter aanmoediging van de Europese film- en televisieproduktie, dat thans door de instanties van de Raad (Audiovisuele Sector/Cultuur) besproken wordt.
