5. Only the production of the members of the producer organisation marketed by the producer organisation itself or in conformity with Article 3(3)(b) and (c) of Regulation (EC) No 1182/2007, shall be counted in the value of marketed production.

Whereas Member States may not restrict the marketing of livestock products obtained from feeds containing enzymes, micro-organisms or their preparations when these are included on a national list established according to this Decision;
Overwegende dat de Lid-Staten de handel in dierlijke produkten die zijn verkregen op basis van voeders met enzymen, micro-organismen of hun preparaten welke voorkomen op een overeenkomstig deze richtlijn samengestelde nationale lijst, niet mogen beperken;

increasing productivity, without causing damage to the environment, improving quality, including phytosanitary measures, adapting production, distribution or marketing methods to meet the new quality standards, establishing producers' organisations which have as their objective the improvement of the marketing and competitiveness of their products and the development of systems for certifying environment-friendly production methods, including fair trade bananas, developing a production and/or marketing strategy to meet the requirements of the market in the light of the Community's common organisation of the market in bananas, assisting with training, market intelligence, the development of environment-friendly production methods including fair trade bananas, improving the distribution infrastructure and improving commercial and financial services to banana producers; (b) to support diversification where improvement in the competitiveness of the banana sector is not sustainable.
- verhoging van de productiviteit zonder schade aan het milieu, - verbetering van de kwaliteit, waaronder ook phytosaniaitre maatregelen worden begrepen, - aanpassing van de productie-, de distributie- of de afzetmethoden om aan de nieuwe kwaliteitsnormen te voldoen, - oprichting van telersverenigingen die ernaar streven de afzet en de concurrentiepositie van hun producten te verbeteren en systemen voor de certificering van milieuvriendelijke productiemethoden te ontwikkelen, onder meer voor "fair trade"-bananen, - ontwikkeling van een productie- en/of afzetstrategie om in de context van de gemeenschappelijke marktordening voor bananen te voldoen aan de eisen van de markt, - verlening van bijstand voor opleiding, marktonderzoek, ontwikkeling van milieuvriendelijke productiemethoden, onder meer voor "fair trade"-bananen, verbetering van de distributie-infrastructuur en verbetering van de commerciële en financiële dienstverlening ten behoeve van de bananentelers, b) de diversificatie te steunen wanneer de concurrentiepositie van de bananensector niet duurzaam verbeterd kan worden.

The common organisation of the market in bananas took account of the special production and marketing conditions for bananas, particularly on Madeira. - In fisheries: A number of measures have been adopted to better integrate the Azores and Madeira into the common fisheries policy (producer organisations), to offset the aditional costs caused by the regions' remoteness in marketing certain fishery products, and to support research activities. - In the energy sector: A measure has been adopted to offset the extra costs involved in shipping petroleum products.
Voor de gemeenschappelijke marktordening voor bananen is rekening gehouden met de bijzondere produktie- en afzetvoorwaarden van de overwegend uit Madeira afkomstige bananen; - in de visserijsector is een aantal maatregelen genomen voor een betere integratie van de Azoren en Madeira in het gemeenschappelijk visserijbeleid (producentenorganisaties), om de extra kosten als gevolg van de ultraperifere ligging voor de afzet van bepaalde visserijprodukten te compenseren en om de onderzoekactiviteit te ondersteunen; - in de energiesector is een maatregel genomen om de extra kosten in verband met het vervoer van aardolieprodukten te compenseren.

The objectives of the Agricultural Sector Development Programme(ASDP) is to support the Government's efforts to increase income opportunities for the rural population, and food production. This should be achieved through various interventions benefiting farmers and entrepreneurs in production, processing, marketing in the fields of livestock/diary, poultry, aquaculture, horticulture and improvement of on-farm irrigation and drainage.
Men wil dit bereiken door middel van allerlei maatregelen, ten behoeve van boeren en ondernemers, voor de produktie, verwerking en afzet in de vee- en pluimveeteelt, zuivelproduktie, aquacultuur en tuinbouw en voor verbetering van de bevloeiing en drainage op de landbouwbedrijven.
