In the light of the Framework Agreement on relations between the European Parliament and the European Commission (1) signed on 20 October 2010 (‘the Framework Agreement’), it is necessary to revise the Bureau Decision of 13 November 2006 on the rules governing the administrative processing of confidential documents.

On 28 May 2003, Parliament's Bureau adopted a set of new rules governing the payment of expenses and allowances to Members on the basis of expenses actually incurred, which should enter into force at the same time as this Statute.
