He plans to visit the United States, China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Qatar, and also a number of EU Member States, in an effort to mobilise the positive forces around international climate policy and the intended outcome of the tour is that the countries he visits should come to recognise that there is a climate problem and are willing to talk about a long-term climate policy.
Hij is van plan, Voorzitter, om daarbij een bezoek te brengen aan de Verenigde Staten, China, India, Brazilië, Zuid-Afrika, Qatar en ook enkele EU-lidstaten. De inzet daarbij is de positieve krachten rond het internationale klimaatbeleid te mobiliseren en de beoogde uitkomst van de tournee is dat het klimaatprobleem door de bezochte landen wordt erkend en dat er bereidheid is te praten over een klimaatbeleid op lange termijn.
