EMPHASISES the importance of the Standing Committee's advisory role; CONSIDERS that the Standing Committee should assist the COP in providing guidance with respect to the financial mechanism of the Convention aiming at improving coherence, encourage synergies and coordination in the delivery of international climate change financing; in this context, the Standing Committee should review the distribution of climate finance, identify finance gaps and provide a regular overview of climate financing provided to developing countries. Where a Member State or the Commission considers that the standards referred to in Article 5 (3b) do not entirely meet the adopted specifications as provided for by Article 4, the Member State concerned or the Commission shall inform the Standing Committee set up by Article 5 of Directive 98/34/EC giving the reasons therefor. The Committee shall issue an opinion as a matter of urgency.
Indien een lidstaat of de Commissie van mening is dat de in artikel 5, lid 3 ter bedoelde normen niet geheel in overeenstemming zijn met de aangenomen specificaties overeenkomstig artikel 4, legt de betrokken lidstaat of de Commissie de kwestie met toelichting voor aan het bij artikel 5 van Richtlijn 98/34/EG ingestelde permanente comité. Het comité brengt met spoed een advies uit.

The Commission shall examine the reasons given by the Member State referred to in paragraph 1 as soon as possible in the Standing Committee for Foodstuffs, set up by Decision 69/314/EEC, and shall deliver its opinion immediately and take any necessary measures aimed at confirming, amending or repealing the national measure in accordance with the regulatory procedure laid down in Article 8(2)".
2. De Commissie onderzoekt zo spoedig mogelijk de door de in lid 1 bedoelde lidstaat opgegeven redenen in het kader van het bij Besluit 69/314/EEG ingestelde Permanent Comité voor levensmiddelen; zij brengt onverwijld advies uit en neemt de nodige maatregelen om de nationale maatregel te bevestigen, te wijzigen of te annuleren overeenkomstig de regelgevingsprocedure van artikel 8, lid 2".

Therefore the accreditation of the representative European Body of the medical profession as part of the procedure has to be provided. This body is the Standing Committee of European doctors.
