2. 9 Road users shall maintain a minimum distance of 50 m for passenger cars and 100 m for heavy goods vehicles, at the maximum authorised speed, from the vehicle in front of them, under normal conditions and also in the event of a breakdown, congestion, an accident or a fire in a tunnel.
2.9. Met de toegestane maximumsnelheid rijdende weggebruikers houden onder normale omstandigheden een minimumafstand aan tot het voertuig vóór hen - 50 m voor personenwagens en 100 m voor vrachtwagens -, en doen dit ook in geval van motorpech, verkeersopstoppingen, ongelukken of branden in tunnels.
