(92)Om te garanderen dat de voor de afwikkeling verantwoordelijke autoriteiten in de bij Verordening (EU) nr. 1092/2010 opgerichte Europese Raad voor systeemrisico's vertegenwoordigd zijn en ervoor te zorgen dat de EBA over de nodige deskundigheid beschikt om de haar bij deze richtlijn toebedeelde taken uit te voeren, dient Verordening (EU) nr. 1093/2010 te worden gewijzigd om het bij genoemde verordening vastgestelde concept van bevoegde autoriteiten uit te breiden tot de nationale afwikkelingsautoriteiten als omschreven in deze richtlijn. (92)In order to ensure that the authorities responsible for resolution are represented in the European System of Financial Supervision established by Regulation (EU), No 1093/2010 and to ensure that EBA has the expertise necessary to carry out the tasks provided for in this directive, Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 should be amended in order to include national resolution authorities as defined in this Directive in the concept of competent authorities established by that Regulation.Such assimilation between resolution authorities and competent authorities pursuant to Regulation N° 1093/2010 is consistent with the functions attributed to EBA pursuant to Article 25 of Regulation N° 1093/2010 to contribute and participate actively in the development and coordination of recovery and resolution plans and to aim at the facilitiation of the resolution of failing institutions and in particular cross border groups.
