Um eine Fehlinterpretation oder ein Missverständnis zu vermeiden, werde ich es auf Englisch vorlesen: „Hiermit wird erklärt, dass die Einigung, die zwischen dem Rat und dem Europäischen Parlament im Trilog vom 23. Mai 2011 über die Richtlinie des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates zur Änderung der Richtlinie 1999/62/EG über die Erhebung von Gebühren für die Benutzung bestimmter Verkehrswege durch schwere Nutzfahrzeuge (Eurovignette) erreicht wurde, das Ergebnis der interinstitutionellen Verhandlungen über Entsprechungstabellen nicht vorwegnimmt.“

Dit verslag bouwt voort op de Rondetafel van 30 juni 2008 'European Parliament-National Parliaments: Liberty and Security in the Integrated Management of EU Borders', vergaderingen van de Commissie burgerlijke vrijheden, justitie en binnenlandse zaken over dit onderwerp en contacten met vertegenwoordigers van de Commissie, de Europese Toezichthouder voor Gegevensbescherming, vertegenwoordigers van de lidstaten en het Ministerie van Binnenlandse Veiligheid van de VS.

Op 24 april van dit jaar besloot de Conferentie van voorzitters terecht om de quaestoren te verzoeken hun besluit van 26 september 2007 om faciliteiten op het terrein van het Europees Parlement aan te wijzen voor het “European Parliament for the European Business and Parliament Scheme”, te heroverwegen.
Diese hat am 24. April dieses Jahres zu Recht beschlossen, die Quästoren darum zu bitten, ihre Entscheidung vom 26. September 2007 zu überdenken, in den Gebäuden des Europäischen Parlaments Räume und Infrastruktur für das European Business and Parliament Scheme zur Verfügung zu stellen.

Voorts begrijp ik niet waarom we – na dat besluit van de Conferentie van voorzitters – namens uzelf van de heer Vidal-Quadras, vicevoorzitter van het Parlement, een uitnodiging hebben ontvangen voor een lanceringsceremonie voor het “European Parliament for the European Business and Parliament Scheme” op 3 juni.
Zudem ist mir unverständlich, warum wir nach diesem Beschluss der Konferenz der Präsidenten vom Vizepräsidenten des Parlaments, Herrn Vidal-Quadras, in Ihrem Namen eine Einladung für die Feier zur Eröffnung des European Business and Parliament Scheme am 3. Juni erhalten haben.
