E. in der Erwägung, dass das Massaker von Srebrenica sowohl vom Internationalen Strafgerichtshof für das ehemalige Jugoslawien (IStGHJ) – Rechtsmittelurteil, Anklagebehörde gegen Radislav Krstić , Aktenzeichen IT-99-33, 19. April 2004 – als auch vom Internationalen Gerichtshof (IGH) – in dem Fall betreffend die Anwendung der Konvention über die Verhütung und Bestrafung des Völkermordes (Bosnien und Herzegowina gegen Serbien und Montenegro) vom 27. 13. moedigt Servië aan te blijven samenwerken met het Internationaal Straftribunaal voor het voormalige Joegoslavië (International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, ICTY), de binnenlandse vervolging van oorlogsmisdaden te versterken en zich nog sterker te blijven inzetten voor regionale samenwerking om een einde te maken aan straffeloosheid en om gerechtigheid te geven aan de slachtoffers van oorlogsmisdaden en hun nabestaanden; benadrukt dat alomvattende wetgeving en beleid voor de bescherming van getuigen dringend moeten worden aangenomen om de slachtoffers en hun nabestaanden het recht op herstel te bieden; spreekt nogmaals zijn steun uit voor het REKOM-initiatief;
13. fordert Serbien auf, weiter mit dem Internationalen Strafgerichtshof für das ehemalige Jugoslawien (IStGHJ) zusammenzuarbeiten, Kriegsverbrecherprozesse im eigenen Land zu fördern und weiter seine Anstrengungen in Bezug auf die regionale Kooperation zu verstärken, um den Opfern von Kriegsverbrechen und ihren Familien Gerechtigkeit widerfahren zu lassen; betont die Dringlichkeit, umfassende Rechtsvorschriften und politische Konzepte für den Schutz von Zeugen anzunehmen und den Opfern und deren Familien ein Recht auf Wiedergutmachung zu verleihen; bekräftigt seine Unterstützung für die Initiative für Wahrheitsfindung und Aussöhnung (REKOM);
