In order to progress in the completion of the internal market and to achieve higher levels of occupational safety, requirements for front power take-offs for all tractor categories covered by Directive 2003/37/EC should be included in Council Directive 86/297/EEC of 26 May 1986 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the power take-offs of wheeled agricultural and forestry tractors and their protection (5).
Pour progresser vers l’achèvement du marché intérieur et pour atteindre des niveaux plus élevés de sécurité au travail, il y a lieu d’inclure dans la directive 86/297/CEE du Conseil du 26 mai 1986 concernant le rapprochement des législations des États membres relatives aux prises de force et à leur protection des tracteurs agricoles et forestiers à roues (5) des prescriptions pour les prises de force avant, applicables à toutes les catégories de tracteur visées dans la directive 2003/37/CE.
