The aim of the Commission proposal is to amend Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 establishing a common organisation of agricultural markets as regards the marketing standards for poultrymeat.
La proposition de la Commission vise à modifier, à différents égards, le règlement (CE) n 1234/2007 portant organisation commune des marchés dans le secteur agricole, en ce qui concerne les normes de commercialisation pour la viande de volaille.

Main priorities are: to improve the sustainability and overall performance of agricultural holdings in the production of primary agricultural products while at the same time upgrading to Community standards, to improve the overall performance and competitiveness of the food processing industry while upgrading to Community standards, to improve and strengthen the role of producer groups in the agricultural markets.

FURTHER DECISIONS RELATING TO AGRICULTURE (adopted without debate) The Council unanimously adopted the Regulations: - amending Regulation No 136/66/EEC on the establishment of a common organization of the markets in oils and fats; this amendment supplements the Regulation in force by introducing particular intervention measures for olive oil in order to offset serious market disturbances before the opening of the normal intervention period (1.7.-31.10.); - amending Regulation (EEC) No 1906/90 on certain marketing standards for poultrymeat; this involves a clarification and technical update of the existing rules; - setting for the 1993/1994 marketing year the percentages mentioned in Article 3(1a) of Regulation (EEC) No 426/86 in connection with aid for products processed from tomatoes; this is the percentage of the quantities of processed tomatoes covered by contracts concluded with associations of producers.
AUTRES DECISIONS CONCERNANT L'AGRICULTURE (Adoptées sans débat) Le Conseil a arrêté, à l'unanimité, les règlements : - modifiant le règlement n° 136/66/CEE portant établissement d'une organisation commune des marchés dans le secteur des matières grasses. Cette modification complète la réglementation en vigueur en y introduisant des mesures particulières d'intervention pour l'huile d'olive afin de remédier aux perturbations graves du marché avant l'ouverture de la période d'intervention normale (1.7. - 31.10.). - modifiant le règlement (CEE) n° 1906/90 établissant des normes de commercialisation pour la viande de volaille. Il s'agit d'apporter précision et adaptation technique à la réglementation existante. - fixant, pour la campagne 1993/1994, le pourcentage visé à l'article 3 paragraphe 1bis du règlement (CEE) n° 426/86 en ce qui concerne l'octroi de l'aide aux produits transformés à base de tomates. Il s'agit du pourcentage des quantités de tomates transformées couvertes par des contrats conclus avec les groupements de producteurs.
