Referring to the cases mentioned by the Honourable Member, it is aware that Dr Ayan, a psychiatrist working at the Izmir Office of the Human Rights Foundation of Turkey, was detained with 74 others on 30 September 1999 in a village near Izmir, when they tried to attend a funeral of a prisoner killed in Ankara Central Closed Prison.
