Certain provinces of Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut) are currently listed in Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 1251/2008.
Certaines provinces du Canada (Colombie-Britannique, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nouveau-Brunswick, Nouvelle-Écosse, Île-du-Prince-Édouard, Terre-Neuve et Labrador, Yukon, territoires du Nord-Ouest et Nunavut) sont actuellement énumérées à l’annexe III du règlement (CE) no 1251/2008.

The whole territory of Canada, except the Okanagan Valley region of British Columbia, is currently listed in Part 1 of Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 as approved for the export to the Union, inter alia, of domestic ovine animals (Ovis aries) and domestic caprine animals (Capra hircus) intended for breeding and/or production after importation and accompanied by a veterinary certificate in accordance with model OVI-X.
L’ensemble du territoire du Canada, à l’exception de la région de l’Okanagan Valley, en Colombie-Britannique, figure actuellement à l’annexe I, partie 1, du règlement (UE) no 206/2010 en tant que territoire en provenance duquel des ovins domestiques (Ovis aries) et des caprins domestiques (Capra hircus) destinés à l’élevage et/ou à la rente après importation, notamment, peuvent être exportés vers l’Union, accompagnés d’un certificat vétérinaire conforme au modèle OVI-X.

Four of its Directors represent one of each of the following regions: (a) British Columbia and Yukon, (b) Prairies, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, (c) Ontario, and (d) Atlantic.

– (ES) Mr President, Minister, the British Government has indicated that it is in favour of reducing the CAP and lowering agricultural subsidies, and I would therefore like to ask the Presidency-in-Office of the Council whether it believes that young people living in rural and mountain regions are going to be able to integrate better into their natural environment and whether they will have more life opportunities as a result of this proposal to abandon the common agricultural policy.
