The Congress of Black Women are sponsoring a story telling evening and the Caribbean Canadian Cultural Association will be holding a who's who in the black community event to honour young people, especially those who are contributing significantly to the Kitchener community.

He was the former president of the Grenada Association of Toronto; former director and treasurer of the Caribbean Cultural Committee; and co-chair of the Endowment Committee for Dalhousie University's James Robinson Johnston Chair in Black Canadian Studies, where I had the privilege of working with him.
