Calls on the Commission and the Member States to take measures in order to ensure the indiscriminate circulation of products derived from vaccinated animals, the absence of which has, to date, placed a major brake on the use of vaccination as a tool in combating the spread of contagious animal diseases; calls, therefore, inter alia, for a ban on consumer labelling of products derived from vaccinated animals, effective public communication strategies regarding the harmlessness of products derived from vaccinated animals and the conclusion of conventions on the free circulation of products derived from vaccinated animals between governments, farmers' organisations, consumer organisations and retail and trade operators;

With a view to preparing for the revision of the Common Specifications and of the office equipment product groups covered by Annex C to the Agreement, and before submitting a draft proposal or replying to USEPA in accordance with the procedures laid down in the Agreement and in Council Decision 2006/1005/EC of 18 December 2006 concerning conclusion of the Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the European Community on the coordination of energy-efficiency labelling programmes for office equipment , the steps set out in paragraphs 2 to 5 shall be taken.

In 2002, it adopted a Community Action Plan to integrate environmental protection requirements into the Common Fisheries Policy and announced its intention to launch a debate on the eco-labelling of fisheries products.

2. 2 The labelling requirements laid down in Chapter III of this Regulation shall not apply to products which have been lawfully manufactured and labelled in the Community, or which have been lawfully imported into the Community and put into free circulation, before the date of application of this Regulation.

(3) Differences between national laws, regulations and administrative provisions concerning traceability and labelling of GMOs as products or in products as well as traceability of food and feed produced from GMOs may hinder their free movement, creating conditions of unequal and unfair competition.A harmonised Community framework for traceability and labelling of GMOs should contribute to the effective functioning of the internal market .
(3) Les divergences entre les dispositions législatives, réglementaires et administratives des États membres relatives à la traçabilité et à l'étiquetage des OGM en tant que produits ou éléments de produits, ainsi qu'à la traçabilité des denrées alimentaires et aliments pour animaux produits à partir d'OGM, peuvent entraver leur libre circulation, créant des conditions de concurrence inégales et déloyales. (1) A high and uniform level of protection of the European citizen should at all times be ensured in civil aviation, by the adoption of common safety rules and by measures ensuring that products, persons and organisations in the Community comply with such rules and those adopted to protect the environment. In order to facilitate the adoption of common decisions by Member States on the authorization of veterinary medicinal products on the basis of the scientific criteria of quality, safety and efficacy, and to achieve thereby the free movement of veterinary medicinal products within the Community, a Committee for Veterinary Medicinal Products, hereinafter referred to as "the Committee", is hereby set up.

Without prejudice to any measures or actions taken in accordance with Article 9(9) and/or 10a of Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91, the release for free circulation in the Community of products not complying with the requirements of that Regulation shall be conditional on the removal of references to the organic production method from the labelling, advertising and accompanying documents.
