This Decision constitutes a development of the provisions of the Schengen acquis in which the United Kingdom does not take part, in accordance with Council Decision 2000/365/EC of 29 May 2000 concerning the request of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to take part in some of the provisions of the Schengen acquis (16) and the subsequent Council Decision 2004/926/EC of 22 December 2004 on the putting into effect of parts of the Schengen acquis by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (17).
La présente décision constitue un développement des dispositions de l'acquis de Schengen auquel le Royaume-Uni ne participe pas, conformément à la décision 2000/365/CE du Conseil du 29 mai 2000 relative à la demande du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d'Irlande du Nord de participer à certaines dispositions de l'acquis de Schengen (16), et à la décision ultérieure 2004/926/CE du Conseil du 22 décembre 2004 relative à la mise en œuvre de certaines parties de l'acquis de Schengen par le Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d'Irlande du Nord (17).

For rural development support financed by the EAGGF Guarantee Section and relating to programming in the Member States of the Community as constituted at 30 April 2004, transitional provisions should be laid down for payments from 16 October to 31 December 2006, as well as for commitments to beneficiaries in the current programming period for which payments may take place after 31 December 2006 during the new programming period.
En ce qui concerne le soutien au développement rural financé par le FEOGA, section «Garantie», relatif à la programmation dans les États membres de la Communauté dans sa composition au 30 avril 2004, il importe d’établir des dispositions transitoires pour les paiements à effectuer entre le 16 octobre et le 31 décembre 2006, ainsi que pour les engagements en faveur des bénéficiaires qui relèvent de la période de programmation actuelle, mais dont les paiements pourraient être effectués après le 31 décembre 2006, soit au cours de la nouvelle période de programmation.
