The EU Member States represented in the Connecting Europe Facility Coordination Committee must now formally approve the proposed funding decision at their meeting on 6 July 2017.
Les États membres de l'UE, représentés au sein du comité de coordination du mécanisme pour l'interconnexion en Europe, doivent maintenant approuver formellement la décision de financement proposée, lors de leur réunion du 6 juillet 2017.

The proposed funding decision must now be formally approved by the Connecting Europe Facility Coordination Committee, which will meet on 8 July 2016.

· Develop and provide to industry a long term and clear vision of the institutional market at EU level; · Carry out and update a mapping of the supply chain to ensure the right level of European independence, expertise and competitiveness; · Support the development of appropriate skills required specifically by the space sector and promote the establishment of mutually recognised academic space qualifications in Europe (initiate and coordinate between Member States the development of space academies); · Include in future RD framework programmes dedicated actions in which part of the research must be done by PhD candidates – as is currently the case in air traffic management; · Encourage the development of life long learning programmes through strengthened cooperation between industry and universities, in particular in the emerging area of satellite based applications; · Enhance EU appeal to foreign researchers.
· Élaborer et fournir à l’industrie un plan clair du développement à long terme du marché institutionnel au niveau de l’UE. · Établir et mettre à jour une cartographie de la chaîne d’approvisionnement pour garantir que l’Europe dispose d’un niveau approprié d’indépendance, d’expertise et de compétitivité. · Soutenir le développement de compétences appropriées requises spécifiquement par le secteur spatial et favoriser la mise en place de qualifications universitaires mutuellement reconnues dans le domaine spatial en Europe (entreprendre et coordonner entre les États membres l’établissement d’universités spécialisées dans le domaine spatial). · Inclure dans les futurs programmes-cadres de R D des actions spécifiques exigeant qu’une partie de la recherche soit effectuée par des doctorants – comme c’est actuellement le cas dans la gestion du trafic aérien. · Encourager le développement de programmes d’apprentissage tout au long de la vie grâce à une coopération accrue entre les entreprises et les universités, en particulier dans le domaine émergent des applications satellitaires.

Lastly, the Commission is assisted by the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Coordination Committee in coordinating the work programmes with a view to allowing multi-sectoral calls for proposals in an effort to take full advantage of possible synergies between those sectors.
Enfin, la Commission est assistée par le comité de coordination du mécanisme pour l'interconnexion en Europe (MIE) pour coordonner les programmes de travail en vue de permettre l'organisation d'appels à propositions multisectoriels dans le but d'exploiter au maximum les synergies possibles entre ces secteurs.
