(16) Despite subsection (13), every three-wheeled vehicle shall, at the option of the manufacturer, either conform to the requirements of S5 and S14 to S27 of TSD 208 or display the following statement on one or more labels, permanently affixed in view of the occupants of the front designated seating positions, in letters of not less than six points in height: “This vehicle does not conform to the requirements of the dynamic or static tests set out in CMVSS 208.
(16) Malgré le paragraphe (13), les véhicules à trois roues doivent, au choix du fabricant, soit répondre aux exigences des dispositions S5 et S14 à S27 du DNT 208, soit porter une ou plusieurs étiquettes, affichées en permanence et à la vue des occupants des places assises désignées avant, sur lesquelles figure, en lettres d’au moins six points de hauteur, la mention suivante : « This vehicle does not conform to the requirements of the dynamic or static tests set out in CMVSS 208.
