In its rules of procedure the Cooperation Council shall lay down the duties of the Cooperation Committee, which shall include the preparation of meetings of the Cooperation Council, and how the Committee shall function.

A Customs Cooperation Committee, hereinafter referred to as "the Committee", shall be set up and charged with carrying out administrative cooperation with a view to the correct and uniform application of this Protocol and with carrying out any other task in the customs field which may be entrusted to it.
