The buses that run under the CUTE Project use hydrogen as a fuel to power the fuel cells - electro-chemical devices that use oxygen from the air in combination with hydrogen to make electricity to drive an electric motor- and produce zero emissions.
Les bus du projet CUTE utilisent l'hydrogène pour alimenter des piles à combustible (dispositifs qui, au moyen d'une réaction électrochimique de l'hydrogène et de l'oxygène présent dans l'air, produisent l'énergie nécessaire au moteur électrique), d'où un taux d'émission nul.
