J'ai l'impression, pour l'avoir observé surtout en coulisses mais pas exclusivement, qu'une lutte continuelle oppose ceux qui sont véritablement déterminés à poursuivre le vaste objectif du mandat des IRSC et ceux qui préféreraient un «CRM aux stéroïdes», soit un programme très élargi de recherche fondamentale biomédicale et clinique, qui tout au mieux ferait un peu de recherche soit en vue de la prestation (et du financement) de services de santé, ou sur les facteurs déterminants plus fondamentaux de la santé qui sont propres aux environnements économiques, humains et sociaux.
