The Office shall transmit requests to register a change in ownership, a licence or a restriction of the holder's right of disposal, the amendment or cancellation of a licence or the removal of a restriction of the holder's right of disposal which have been filed with it to the International Bureau, if accompanied by appropriate proof of the transfer, licence, or the restriction of the right of disposal, or by proof that the licence no longer exists or that it has been amended, or that the restriction of the right of disposal has been removed’.

The obligation on the part of the marketing authorisation holder to maintain and make available on request a pharmacovigilance system master file in respect of one or more medicinal products for human use provided for in Article 104(3)(b) of Directive 2001/83/EC as amended by Directive 2010/84/EU, which applies to medicinal products for human use authorised pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 726/2004 by virtue of Article 21 of Regulation (EC) No 726/2004 as amended by this Regulation, shall apply to marketing authorisations granted before 2 July 2012 as from either:

On New Clause 7.1 Murray Calder moved, That Bill C-26 be amended by adding after line 19 on page 12 the following: " 7.1 The Act is amended by adding the following after section 85: Air Travel Complaints Commissioner 85.1 (1) The Minister may designate a temporary member to act as the Air Travel Complaints Commissioner for the purposes of this section (2) A person may file in writing with the Air Travel Complaints Commissioner a complaint against a licensee in respect of its air service if the person made the complaint to the licensee and the complaint was not resolved to the person's satisfaction (3) The Commissioner, or a person authorized to act on the Commissioner's behalf, shall review and attempt to resolve every complaint filed under subsection (2) and may, if appropriate, mediate or arrange for the mediation of a complaint filed under that subsection (4) On request by the Commissioner or a person authorized to act on the Commissioner's behalf, a person shall produce for examination by the Commissioner any document, record or thing that is in the possession or under the control of the person and is, in the opinion of the Commissioner, relevant to a complaint (5) The Commissioner or a person authorized to act on the Commissioner's behalf may provide to the parties a report that outlines their positions and any settlement that they reached (6) The Commissioner shall, at least semi-annually, prepare a report setting out the number and nature of complaints filed under subsection (2), including the names of the licensees against whom the complaints were made and describing the manner in which they were dealt with and any systemic problems observed. The Agency shall include the Commissioner's reports in its annual report" .

The Attorney General of Ontario has filed a notice of appeal with the Court of Appeal for Ontario Question No. 462 Hon. Irwin Cotler: With respect to the government’s filing in L. and M. v. Attorney General (Canada) and Attorney General (Quebec) regarding same-sex couples married in Canada but comprised of one or more non-residence spouses: (a) by what process was the filing reviewed, by which government employees, and on what dates; (b) did the Minister of Justice or his office, or any other agent or officer of the government, issue any directive with specific regard to this case, and, if so, what were the contents of the directives or memo; (c) has the government amended its filing; (d) if the government has amended its filing, in what way has it done so, and, if not, why not; (e) will the government withdraw its filing; (f) who was the highest-ranking official to have approved the filing and when did this occur; and (g) is it the government’s policy to make similar filings in cases of this nature?

(Return tabled) Question No. 302 Mr. Francis Scarpaleggia: With regard to the National Parole Board (NPB): (a) specifically with reference to Bill C-59, An Act to amend the Corrections and Conditional Release Act (accelerated parole review) and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, which was passed by Parliament in the 3rd Session of the 40th Parliament, (i) has the NPB seen an increase in the number of files they are dealing with directly, and, if so, by how many, (ii) does the NPB have an estimate of how many additional cases on an annual basis they expect to have to handle as a result of this bill’s passage, (iii) has the government allocated additional monetary or personnel resources to the NPB to help them cope with the influx of cases as a result of this bill; (b) with reference to all other criminal justice bills passed in the 39th and 40th Parliaments, (i) has the NPB seen an increase in the number of files they are dealing with directly, and, if so, by how many, (ii) does the NPB have an estimate of how many additional cases on an annual basis they expect to have to handle as a result of each bill’s passage, (iii) has the government allocated additional monetary or personnel resources to the NPB to help them cope with the influx of cases as a result of these bills; and (c) with regard to the criminal justice bills currently before the 41st Parliament, (i) does the NPB anticipate seeing an increase in the number of files they are dealing with directly, and, if so, by how many, (ii) does the government plan on allocating additional monetary or personnel resources to the NPB to help them cope with the influx of cases as a result of these bills; and (d) has the NPB received any complaints about their ability to meet their mandate, and, if so, when, what types of complaints and from whom?

' Mr. Antoine Dubé (Lévis, BQ) moved: Motion No. 28 That Bill C-71 be amended by adding after line 9 on page 17 the following: ``42.1 (1) The Minister shall table in the House of Commons every regulation made under this Act within three sitting days after the day on which it is made (2) The regulation comes into force on the 10th sitting day after the day on which it is tabled, or on any later day specified in the regulation, unless a motion to repeal it, signed by not fewer than thirty members of the House of Commons, is filed with the Speaker of the House of Commons before the 10th sitting day (3) If a motion to repeal the regulation is filed with the Speaker of the House of Commons in accordance with subsection (2), it shall be taken up and considered by the House of Commons within five sitting days after the day on which it is filed (4) The motion shall be taken up after the ordinary hour of daily adjournment, for a period of not more than four hours, and at the end of the debate the Speaker of the House of Commons shall, without delay or further debate or amendment, put every question necessary for the disposition of the motion (5) If the motion is adopted, the regulation is repealed, and if the motion is defeated, the regulation comes into force on the day after the day on which the motion is defeated or on any later day specified in the regulation (6) The regulation is repealed if Parliament is prorogued or dissolved before the motion is disposed of or, if no motion has been filed, before the end of the period mentioned in subsection (2) (7) For the purpose of this section, ``sitting day'' means a day on which the House of Commons is sitting'.
