After a good deal of work and, it must be acknowledged, of compromise, we finally came up with this Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, an outcome which has had the support, among others, of the Union des artistes, the Bloc Québécois, the Parti Québécois and the French and Canadian governments.
Après beaucoup de travail et, il faut bien le reconnaître, de compromis, nous en sommes arrivés à cette Convention sur la protection et la promotion de la diversité des expressions culturelles, un résultat qui a été appuyé, entre autres, par l'Union des artistes, par le Bloc québécois, par le Parti québécois et par les gouvernements français et canadien.
