Takes the view, in this connection, that the formal establishment of a high-level working party responsible for equal opportunities issues, made up of representatives/experts of the Member States, the social partners and NGOs, could help to bring a good level of expertise to the framing, implementation and follow-up of equal opportunities policy.
Estime, dans ce contexte, que la création d'un groupe de travail officiel de haut niveau chargé des questions de l'égalité des chances, composé de représentants/experts des États membres, des partenaires sociaux et des ONG pourrait contribuer à apporter un bon niveau d'expertise dans l'élaboration, la mise en œuvre et le suivi de la politique d'égalité des chances.

I hope that the Council will appoint a high level working group on tax as soon as possible, as was referred to in Helsinki, and will continue from the point reached at Helsinki.
Je souhaite à ce propos que le Conseil désigne le plus rapidement possible le groupe de haut niveau d’étude de la fiscalité dont il a déjà été question à Helsinki et qu’il continue sur la voie engagée à Helsinki.

At this meeting with the CER, the Commission will deal with issues connected with Community rail policy, and in particular: - the progress of high-speed rail since the adoption last year of the Council resolution on a European high-speed rail network; - the progress made by the high-level working party on combined transport, which is working on road/rail networks and inland waterways; - the implementation of Directive 91/440/EEC on rail transport, which inter alia provides for a clear separation between infrastructure and services, and establishes the rights of access of certain categories of user to infrastructure.
Les thèmes qu'abordera la Commission au cours de la rencontre avec la CCFE concerneront l'évolution actuelle et future de la politique ferroviaire communautaire et en particulier : - l'état d'avancement des travaux sur la grande vitesse à la suite de l'adoption en 1991 de la résolution du Conseil sur les réseaux européens de trains à grande vitesse. - l'état des travaux du groupe à haut niveau sur le transport combiné qui élabore notamment des réseaux rails/routes et voies navigables. - la mise en oeuvre de la Directive (91/440) sur les chemins de fer qui prévoit entre autres une séparation claire entre infrastructures et services d'une part et la définition des droits d'accès à l'infrastructure pour certaines catégories d'utilisateurs.
