Where, in accordance with the exceptions laid down in point 3.2.2 of Annex II to the Framework Agreement and in Article 6(5) of the Interinstitutional Agreement, information classified at the level CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL or its equivalent is discussed at a meeting held in camera, the secretariat of the parliamentary body/office-holder responsible for the meeting shall, in addition to ensuring compliance with the provisions laid down in paragraph 2, ensure that the persons designated to participate in the meeting comply with the requirements of Article 3(4) and (7).

4. In the case provided for in paragraph 3, the CIU shall provide to the secretariat of the parliamentary body/office-holder-responsible for the meeting in camera the requisite number of copies of the documents to be discussed, which shall be returned to the CIU after the meeting.
