As referred to in Recital 27, all those courses are provided by external trainers and mainly on third party equipment which is widely used in the manufacturing sector. On the basis of that information, it should be found that the Production System Training will provide skills which are transferable to other firms or fields of work.

In line with the orientations in the communication on “Implementing the Community Lisbon programme: A policy framework to strengthen EU manufacturing – towards a more integrated approach for industrial policy”[15], the Commission will gradually apply this approach to other industry sectors, such as pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, information and communication technologies and energy-intensive sectors.
Conformément aux orientations contenues dans la communication “Mettre en œuvre le programme communautaire de Lisbonne : Un cadre politique pour renforcer l’industrie manufacturière de l’UE - vers une approche plus intégrée de la politique industrielle”[15], la Commission appliquera progressivement cette approche à d'autres secteurs industriels tels que les produits pharmaceutiques, la construction mécanique, les technologies de l'information et de la communication et les secteurs à haute intensité en énergie.

The main mechanisms for the public sector intervention, in contributing to this business case, are: promoting standardisation - leading to market harmonisation, larger volumes and lower manufacturing costs; promoting awareness and information - leading to an increased demand of safety systems and consumers' willingness to pay for advanced safety features; and working together with appropriate partners (public and private sectors) in introducing financial incentives for the buyers of vehicles equipped with advanced safety systems.
Les principaux mécanismes d'intervention du secteur public à prendre en compte dans le cadre de cette analyse de rentabilité consistent à promouvoir la normalisation, qui permet l'harmonisation du marché et la production de volumes plus importants pour un moindre coût de fabrication, à faire oeuvre de sensibilisation et d'information, en vue de stimuler la demande de systèmes de sécurité et de faire accepter par les consommateurs l'idée de payer pour bénéficier de fonctions de sécurité avancées, et à collaborer avec les partenaires compétents (du public et du privé) pour mettre en place des incitations financières pour l'acquisition de véhicules équipés de systèmes de sécurité avancés.
