La Commission est d'avis qu'il s'agit d'un problème particulier et spécifique de certaines régions pour lequel des solutions adéquates peuvent être trouvées dans le cadre des programmes opérationnels des objectifs nu 1 et 5b) tout en respectant la discipline de l'article 12 de ce règlement. 8. Article 6 3 2ème alinéa, lire : Dans ce cas l'aide est soumise à la condition que l'investissement ne porte pas le nombre de vaches laitières à plus de cinquante par UTH et à plus de quatre-vingts par exploitation ou, si l'exploitation dispose de plus de 1,6 UTH, ne conduise pas à augmenter de plus de 15 % le nombre de vaches laitières.

7. Article 12(4) is amended as follows: (d) the last subparagraph is replaced by the following text (consequential amendment): "Moreover, as regards the holdings referred to in paragraphs 2 and 3, the number of dairy cows referred to in Article 6(3) shall be fifty per MWU and per holding".
7. (a) notwithstanding Article 5 (1) (a), the investment aid scheme provided for in Articles 5 to 9 of the abovementioned Regulation may be applied on the Aegean islands in question to farmers who, while they do not practise farming as their main occupation, derive at least 25 % of their total income from farming carried out on the holding and whose holding does not require the equivalent of more than one MWU, provided that the envisaged investments do not exceed ECU 25 000.
