The two officers who lodged a complaint, Mr Proske and Mr Michaelis, allege that Mr Pflüger moved away from the group of counter-demonstrators, walked up to Mr Proske, who was standing in the cordon, and demanded to be let through immediately. As Mr Pflüger had claimed to be a Member of the European Parliament, Mr Proske asked to see proof of his status and stopped him from going through the police cordon.
