The European Commission has approved under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of joint control over České aerolinie ("CSA"), the Czech national air carrier, by Travel Service and Český Aeroholding ("CAH"), all of the Czech Republic.

1. Every Member State shall ensure that air carriers providing services from their territory implement and maintain an air carrier security programme appropriate to meet the requirements of national civil aviation security programmes. That programme shall describe the methods and procedures which are to be followed by the air carrier in order to comply both with this Regulation and with the national civil aviation security programme of the Member State from which it provides services.
Ce programme décrit les méthodes et les procédures à suivre par le transporteur aérien afin de se conformer tant au présent règlement qu'au programme national de sûreté de l'aviation civile de l'État membre à partir duquel il fournit ses services.

2a. If, within one month of the national lists of air carriers referred to in paragraph 1 being forwarded, a Member State objects to the inclusion of an air carrier's name on the Community list, the Commission shall take a decision on its inclusion on the list, after having informed the air carrier concerned, and in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 6.
2 bis.
