Over the course of the next year, I'd like to see the standing committee work in cooperation with the Assembly of First Nations and the Association of Indigenous Institutes of Higher Learning on the implementation of that Chignecto/Katenies report and establish a process to recognize and legitimize our institutes and the role they fulfill in post-secondary education.

L’an prochain, j’aimerais que le Comité permanent collabore avec l’Assemblée des Premières nations et avec l’Association of Indigenous Institutes of Higher Learning à la mise en œuvre du rapport Chignecto/Katenies et à la mise sur pied d’un processus visant à reconnaître et à légitimer nos institutions ainsi que le rôle qu’elles jouent dans l’enseignement postsecondaire.
