To avoid risks to human health and barriers to the free movement of goods, Commission Directive 2002/16/EC of 20 February 2002 on the use of certain epoxy derivatives in materials and articles intended to come into contact with food (2), lays down specific migration limits for 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane bis(2,3-epoxypropyl) ether (‘BADGE’ i.e. Bisphenol-A DiGlycidyl Ether), bis(hydroxyphenyl)methane bis(2,3-epoxypropyl)ethers (‘BFDGE’ i.e. Bisphenol-F DiGlycidyl Ether) and novolac glycidyl ethers (NOGE) and some of their derivatives.
Pour éviter tout risque pour la santé humaine et d'éventuelles entraves à la libre circulation des marchandises, la directive 2002/16/CE de la Commission du 20 février 2002 concernant l'utilisation de certains dérivés époxydiques dans des matériaux et des objets destinés à entrer en contact avec des denrées alimentaires (2) fixe des limites de migration spécifiques pour l'éther bis(2,3-époxypropylénique) du 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphényl)propane (dénommé ici «BADGE»), les éthers bis(2,3-époxypropylénique) du bis(hydroxyphényl)méthane («BFDGE») et les éthers de glycidyl Novolaque («NOGE») ainsi que certains de leurs dérivés.
