Fibre-to-the-home or FTTH: an access network consisting of optical fibre lines in both the feeder and the drop segments of the access network, i.e. connecting a customer’s premises (the home or in multi-dwelling units the apartment) to the MPoP by means of optical fibre.

5. Encourages the Member States of the European Union , the European Space Agency and the various stakeholders to make greater and better use of the existing national and multinational space systems and to foster their complementarity; notes in this respect that common capabilities are needed for ESDP in at least the following areas: telecommunications, information management, observation and navigation; recommends the sharing and exchange of these data in line with the EU concept for Network Centric Operations Architecture;
5. encourage les États membres de l'Union européenne, l'Agence spatiale européenne et les divers acteurs à faire une plus grande et une meilleure utilisation des systèmes spatiaux nationaux et multinationaux existants et à favoriser leur complémentarité, et note à ce sujet que des capacités communes sont nécessaires pour la PESD, au moins dans les domaines suivants: les télécommunications, la gestion des informations, l'observation et la navigation, et recommande de partager et d'échanger ces données conformément au concept, prévalant dans l'Union, d' 'architecture réseaucentrique des opérations' (Network Centric Operations Architecture);

5. It should also be recalled that the Parliament in its Resolution of 12 July on Maritime Policy favoured "the creation of a budget line entitled 'Maritime policy: pilot projects' to promote pilot projects seeking to integrate various systems for the monitoring and surveillance of the seas, collate scientific data on the sea, and disseminate networks and best practices in the field of maritime policy and the coastal economy; calls for maritime policy to be taken duly into account in the budgetary architecture of EU policies and instruments after 2013".
Il faut aussi rappeler que le Parlement, dans sa résolution du 12 juillet sur la politique maritime, a favorisé «la création d’une ligne budgétaire "projets pilotes dédiés à la politique maritime" afin de promouvoir des projets visant à intégrer différents systèmes de surveillance maritime, de rassembler des données scientifiques sur la mer ainsi que de généraliser les réseaux et les bonnes pratiques dans le domaine de la politique maritime et de la gestion du littoral», et appelé à «une prise en compte appropriée, au-delà de 2013, de la politique maritime dans l’architecture budgétaire des politiques et instruments communautaires».

All stakeholders to improve the security of software and the security and resilience of network and information systems in line with the Strategy for a Secure Information Society in Europe, as set out in this Resolution, as well as to engage in a structured multi-stakeholder debate on how best to utilise existing tools and regulatory instruments;
