8401 (1) Where the pension adjustment of an individual for a calendar year with respect to an employer is greater than nil, the employer shall, on or before the last day of February in the immediately following calendar year, file with the Minister an information return in prescribed form reporting the pension adjustment, other than the portion, if any, required by subsection (2) or (3) to be reported by the administrator of a registered pension plan.

(6) Where the pension adjustment of an individual for a calendar year with respect to an employer is altered by reason of the application of paragraph 8308(4)(d) or (5)(c) and the amount (in this subsection referred to as the “redetermined amount”) that a person would have been required to report based on the pension adjustment as altered exceeds

(2) Where an individual makes a contribution in a particular calendar year to a registered pension plan that is a specified multi-employer plan in the year and the contribution is not remitted to the plan by any participating employer on behalf of the individual, the plan administrator shall, on or before the last day of February in the immediately following calendar year, file with the Minister an information return in prescribed form reporting the aggregate of all amounts each of which is the portion, if any, of the individual’s pension adjustment for the particular year with respect to an employer that may reasonably be considered to result from the contribution.

(a) if the person has not previously reported an amount in respect of the individual’s pension adjustment, nil, and

(b) otherwise, the amount reported by the person in respect of the individual’s pension adjustment,

Is very concerned that DG EMPL adjusted the error rate reported by the Member States in the case of 13 out of 117 annual audit reports for 2012 or dubbed them unreliable (in 2011 this had been the case for 42 of the 117 annual audit reports); considers this particular cause for concern because the Commission takes the opinions, the annual audit reports and the management declarations of the Member States as a basis for its risk analysis and for its own audits;
237. s'inquiète vivement que la DG EMPL ait ajusté ou considéré comme non fiable le taux d'erreur transmis par les États membres figurant dans 13 des 117 rapports de contrôle annuels 2012 (contre 42 rapports de contrôle annuels sur 117 pour 2011); ceci est d'autant plus inquiétant que la Commission utilise comme base de son analyse des risques et de ses propres audits les avis d'audit, les rapports de contrôle annuels ainsi que les déclarations de gestion des États membres;

239. Takes note that an Action plan has been implemented by the Czech government in 2012; notes with concern the centralisation of the audit activities under the main audit authority in the Czech Ministry of Finance since the Court of Auditors reported this audit authority was ineffective; calls on the Commission to report to the discharge authority on adjustments concerning the staff of the audit authority, based on the Czech Government's analysis, as requested in the Action Plan;
222. constate qu'un plan d'action a été mis en œuvre par le gouvernement tchèque en 2012; relève avec inquiétude la centralisation des activités d'audit auprès de l'autorité de contrôle principale au sein du ministère tchèque des finances, la Cour des comptes ayant fait état de l'inefficacité de cette autorité de contrôle; invite la Commission à rendre compte à l'autorité de décharge des adaptations apportées, sur la base de l'analyse du gouvernement tchèque, au personnel de l'autorité de contrôle selon la demande énoncée dans le plan d'action;

The Invalidity Pension Scheme Special Report (No. 3/2003) was one for which I was responsible. One of the conclusions was that the audit found scope for financial savings through the adoption of adequate administrative measures for prevention and early treatment.
